Clinging Red (June, 2022)
This piece is an affirmative love letter to self. Beginning with Rose's stream of consciousness as she sits on the subway, this three-projection setup portrays a woman navigating loneliness in the city. Clinging on to her red blanket, she experiences conflicting feelings of desire-- wanting to hold onto her dreams but being unable to see them through in real time.
Simplistic in choreography, this piece heavily rests on establishing tangible connections between the performer in real-time, and the actions existing within the projectors behind her.
